STD's and STI's are becoming more and more common.  Why would you not want to protect yourself?

A sexually transmitted disease or infection can be one of three types.

   Virus

   Bacteria

   Parasite

It is a simple as this, a virus cannot be cured, only symptoms can be treated, it is a lifelong disease.  Examples include HIV, Hepatitis, Human Papiloma Virus (HPV), and the later stages of syphilis (we'll get into that later).  Bacterial STD's can be cured when detected and treated with proper medicine.  Examples include chlamydia, syphilis, and gonorrhea.  Parasitic STD's can be easily cured with medicated creams and shampoos.  Examples include, pubic lice and trichomoniasis.
